The old skip hit 144444 miles today. It’s covered in shit, filled with a wide variety of disgustingness from tip runs and hasn’t been washed in… I can’t remember. Once the house renovation is done, I’ll be giving it a thorough de gunge to see if we can make it look and smell presentable again One piece of the puzzle for getting the engine ready for hard track use. Speedy delivery by @grinspeed who will be carrying out the work when my onlyfans money comes through 🤞 Missed out on what sounded like an awesome weekend in the borders with the @rushcarmag guys 😔 thanks @kottowrites for stopping by on the way home, heard this beast before I saw it 😂 He had a drive of the A2 and accidentally fixed it’s central locking, as soon as he left it broke again 😂 Drove this little 2019 Aygo the other day. Impressed by its interior space, old school feeling soft seats and well judged ride quality. My god is it slow though! Cars in this class have never been fast but many of them handled like go karts and had fizzy little engines that begged you to drive them like you stole it, this definitely wasn’t that. One of the flattest, least characterful engines I’ve ever driven. Full review coming soon on my website First real track outing will hopefully be Blyton Park at the very end of the year. I’ve got some saving up to do to get the balancer shaft situation sorted and the track wheels refurbished with some sticky rubber fitted. “You can’t park there mate” Made the decision to swap out the fixed bucket for the standard seat. The bolt upright position of the Suzuka Pro’s and the inability to recline it by the mounts, combined with the stupidly high bolting points on this car, made me feel not only like I was sat on top of the car but also like my helmet was inches away from the windscreen. It’s not ideal on a track car but it’ll do for now. On the positive side these seats are really comfortable! Turns out the new exhaust has started to melt the bumper 🫠 There’s something about the sound of a K20 that just sounds at home on track! Plenty of Mini’s out at Donington last week
